Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The X-A7 was launched at a markedly lower price (by 29 percent) than the X-T200, which puts it into a different market segment. Usually, retail prices stay at first close to the launch price, but after several months, discounts become available.
