Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The A6400 was launched at a markedly lower price (by 78 percent) than the 1D Mark II N, which puts it into a different market segment. The size of the imaging sensor is a crucial determinant of image quality.
