Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The ZS70 was launched at a lower price than the A900, despite having a lens built in. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The ZS70 has one, while the A900 does not.
