Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The D7200 was launched at a somewhat lower price (by 14 percent) than the A77, which makes it more attractive for photographers on a tight budget. One feature that differentiates the A77 and the D7200 is in-body image stabilization (IBIS). The A77 reduces the risk of handshake-induced blur with all attached lenses, while the D7200 has to rely on optical image stabilization in OIS-equipped lenses to achieve the same effect.The A77 has an articulated screen that can be turned to be front-facing.
