The LCD screen on the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III is flexibly attached to the body. In particular, the LCD is hinged on the side and can be flipped out for odd-angle shots in both portrait and landscape orientation. It is notable that the G1X Mark III offers wifi support. Wifi can be a very convenient means to transfer image data to an off-camera location.

The G1X Mark III has a zoom lens built in (15-45mm f/2.8-5.6), which, in full frame equivalent terms, provides a focal length range from 24 to 72mm.
