Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The NEX-C3 was launched at a markedly lower price (by 56 percent) than the NEX-7, which puts it into a different market segment. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The NEX-7 has one, while the NEX-C3 does not.
