Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The X2D 100C was launched at a somewhat lower price (by 18 percent) than the 645D, which makes it more attractive for photographers on a tight budget. One feature that differentiates the X2D 100C and the 645D is in-body image stabilization (IBIS). The X2D 100C reduces the risk of handshake-induced blur with all attached lenses, while the 645D offers no blur reduction with lenses that themselves do not provide optical image stabilization.
