Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices give an idea on the placement of the camera in the maker’s lineup and the broader market. The SX400 was launched at a lower price than the A7S III, despite having a lens built in. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The SX400 has one, while the A7S III does not. While the built-in flash of the SX400 is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.The A7S III has an articulated screen that can be turned to be front-facing.
