Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The 4000D was launched at a markedly lower price (by 73 percent) than the X-T3, which puts it into a different market segment. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The 4000D has one, while the X-T3 does not. While the built-in flash of the 4000D is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.
