Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The K-70 has one, while the GR III does not. While the built-in flash of the K-70 is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.The K-70 has an articulated LCD that can be turned to be front-facing.
