Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The G7X was launched at a lower price than the A900, despite having a lens built in. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The G7X has one, while the A900 does not. While the built-in flash of the G7X is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.
