The reported shutter speed information refers to the use of the mechanical shutter. Yet, some cameras only have an electronic shutter, while others have an electronic shutter in addition to a mechanical one. The RX0 II is a recent model that features in the current product line-up of Sony. In contrast, the RX0 has been discontinued (but it can be found pre-owned on eBay).
