Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices give an idea on the placement of the camera in the maker’s lineup and the broader market. The RX100 III was launched at a lower price than the A7S II, despite having a lens built in. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The RX100 III has one, while the A7S II does not.
