Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices give an idea on the placement of the camera in the maker’s lineup and the broader market. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The RX1 has one, while the A7 II does not. While the built-in flash of the RX1 is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.
