Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices give an idea on the placement of the camera in the maker’s lineup and the broader market. The K-70 was launched at a markedly lower price (by 35 percent) than the A6300, which puts it into a different market segment. Usually, retail prices stay at first close to the launch price, but after several months, discounts become available. Many modern cameras are not only capable of taking still images, but also of capturing video footage. One feature that differentiates the K-70 and the A6300 is in-body image stabilization (IBIS). The K-70 reduces the risk of handshake-induced blur with all attached lenses, while the A6300 has to rely on optical image stabilization in OIS-equipped lenses to achieve the same effect.The K-70 has an articulated LCD that can be turned to be front-facing. The reported shutter speed information refers to the use of the mechanical shutter.
