The price is, of course, an important factor in any camera decision. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The 7D Mark II was somewhat cheaper (by 10 percent) than the GH5 at launch, but both cameras fall into the same price category. Many modern cameras cannot only take still pictures, but also record videos.
