The Coolpix A was launched at a lower price than the GH5, despite having a lens built in. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The Coolpix A has one, while the GH5 does not. While the built-in flash of the Coolpix A is not very powerful, it can at times be useful as a fill-in light.

The reported shutter speed information refers to the use of the mechanical shutter.
