Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The X-H2S was launched at a somewhat lower price (by 24 percent) than the D810, which makes it more attractive for photographers on a tight budget. Many modern cameras cannot only take still pictures, but also record videos. One feature that differentiates the X-H2S and the D810 is in-body image stabilization (IBIS). The X-H2S reduces the risk of handshake-induced blur with all attached lenses, while the D810 offers no blur reduction with lenses that themselves do not provide optical image stabilization.
