The Canon EOS R6 and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 are two enthusiast cameras that were officially introduced, respectively, in July 2020 and October 2013. The Canon R6 is a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, while the RX10 is a fixed lens compact. The cameras are based on a full frame (Canon R6) and an one-inch (RX10) sensor. The price is, of course, an important factor in any camera decision. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The RX10 was launched at a lower price than the Canon R6, despite having a lens built in. One differentiating feature between the two cameras concerns the touch sensitivity of the rear screen. The Canon R6 has a touchscreen, while the RX10 has a conventional panel.
