Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. One difference between the cameras concerns the presence of an on-board flash. The G5X Mark II has one, while the ZV-1 does not. It is notable that the ZV-1 has a microphone port, which can help to improve the quality of audio recordings by attaching an external microphone. The G5X Mark II does not feature such a mic input.
