Any camera decision will naturally be influenced heavily by the price. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The SX20 was launched at a markedly lower price (by 69 percent) than the G1X Mark III, which puts it into a different market segment.
