The price is, of course, an important factor in any camera decision. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The 700D was launched at a somewhat lower price (by 13 percent) than the D5200, which makes it more attractive for photographers on a tight budget.
