Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. Sensor comparison: Canon 4000D vs G7X Mark II
The size of the sensor inside a digital camera is one of the key determinants of image quality. One differentiating feature between the two cameras concerns the touch sensitivity of the rear screen. The G7X Mark II has a touchscreen, while the 4000D has a conventional panel.
